True Happiness – Mud-waddling warthog

So so so much blessed rain has already fallen in the Reserve this season and the animals could not be happier after the worst drought in many years we faced: elephants are swimming in our natural pans, birds chasing the abundance of insects, baby impala’s dropping now that there is enough grass to sustain them. And then there is this funny ‘Pumba’ warthog. You can almost hear him hum with joy as he digs and rolls and plays in the pool of mud, as he makes the most of these days of plenty.
