Back Into the Wild

Co-owner Conny revels and dreams aloud about what it is that keeps her coming back to the Reserve time and time again. Read her story here:
“There’s something about the bush that always stirs the soul—and Limpopo-Lipadi never disappoints. Nestled in the heart of the Tuli Block, this Reserve is as raw and untamed as it gets. With every visit, I’m reminded that out here, you’re not in charge—nature is.
On my recent trip, I packed my camera, some snacks, and a good friend to share my enthusiasm with, ready for whatever the wild had in store. And as always, it delivered! From a surprise standoff between two male rhinos fighting over territory to the silent grace of a leopard melting into the dense mopane thickets.
The Tuli Block’s landscape is unique—rocky outcrops, riverbeds, and dense bush that hides more than it reveals. You never know what’s around the next bend. A lion’s track in the sand? A flash of zebra stripes disappearing into the trees? Every game drive feels like a treasure hunt, and the silence between sightings only sharpens the anticipation.
Whether it’s the golden light of dawn breaking over the reserve or the thrill of suddenly coming across not just one, but four hyenas hunched over a recent kill, the crunching of the bones resonating far into the bush, Limpopo-Lipadi always feels like a place where magic is just a moment away.
Here are a few snapshots from the adventure—because sometimes, a picture really is worth a thousand words.”
