Through Lily’s eyes

Meet Lily, a young wildlife enthusiast who regularly visits Limpopo-Lipadi, but what made it extra special this time: with three generations of her family, showing her grandparents their favourite place in Africa for the very first time. She put together this short video clip of her time at the Reserve, and we loved it so much we had to share it. Here’s what she had to say:
“The cool thing about Limpopo-Lipadi is that there is a new highlight every day, and surprises are hiding in the bush, sometimes just around the corner.
My personal highlight of the week was a big breeding herd of elephants at the waterhole. Young calves were playing right in front of our vehicle, and we sat watching them for over an hour. One of the big bulls had leant himself against a massive Baobab tree and he looked as though he was sleeping.
Then, on another day came the lions. They had taken down a zebra and were utterly relaxed after their meal, completely unbothered by us. And at some point, a family of giraffes with two young calves crossed right in front of us.
But what made this trip truly special was sharing it all with my grandparents, who joined us for the first time. We now carry a lot of beautiful moments together.”
