Sometimes you need a bit of luck and some calculations. While driving around the reserve on a rather uneventful evening we all of a sudden saw three rhino that were about to cross the road. Our guide Lucky quickly made the calculation that these three were probably on the way for their evening drink at a water hole. Okay… let’s check this out! With the car hidden from view we waited for the rhinos to arrive, just moments after we had gotten there.
With camera and phone for video well in place we witnessed an incredible parade moving in and out of the scene: the three rhinos of course, giraffes, impala, zebra, birds, all coming and going. Until the little (and quite skittish) Moses messed up the peaceful moment and made everyone galop away.
