School uniforms for a new term
By: Limpopo-Lipadi | Date: July 7, 2026 | Motse
As in previous years, Motse has handed out school uniforms across the two villages, 218 sets in total for Tsetsebjwe and Moletemane. With the cold winter now upon us, the uniforms, along with shoes and trainers, are especially welcome and help the children attend school warm and with dignity.
For the past few years, the uniforms have been made by local seamstresses rather than bought in. It is a practical change that keeps the work and the income within Tsetsebjwe and Moletemane, creating employment in the villages while clothing the children who live there.
The handovers in both villages were warmly supported by the villages’ Kgosi’s (Chiefs), the school chaplains and local leaders. They spoke about the importance of the partnership between Limpopo-Lipadi and the villages, and the shared view that conservation and community upliftment go hand in hand. One cannot really succeed without the other.
Motse exists to support education and healthcare projects in the communities around Limpopo-Lipadi, and 100% of every donated Pula goes directly to the projects. If you would like to help, you can support our work here: https://limpopo-lipadi.org/donate/
