Motse volunteer, Helen, shares a story of one of her favourite animals, the cheeky warthog!
“I love sitting in the hides at the waterholes, because you never know which animals are going to show up. One of my favourite animals is a warthog because they always have such cheeky expressions and look like they are having so much fun when they are rolling around in the mud! Actually though, they do this to cool themselves down and to protect themselves from sunburn and biting insects.”
