Community representatives from the 4 schools in Tsetsebjwe and Moletemane urgently requested duplicators, as they had been unable to create copies of documents (even exam papers) unless teachers drove almost an hour to the closest town. The schools previously had photocopiers but these were not maintained, so they ran out of toner, broke down, and were beyond repair. The request reached the Motse Committee (the community outreach arm of Limpopo-Lipadi Game Reserve) and after a thorough investigation it was decided to lease 4 duplicators, one for each school. Leasing is by no means the cheapest option, but it ensures that regular maintenance occurs and that breakages will be fixed, or the machine replaced. Leasing duplicators costs approximately US$1000 per month (covering all 4 schools) and is an example of an on-going commitment, as the committee must be able to fund the costs for the foreseeable future.
