It was the season of plenty for shareholder Sabine & Co. Sabine shares some highlights of her stay: “During our stay at LL we had some great sightings, especially at Mogorosi waterhole. In the morning light we enjoyed the Plains Zebra and wildebeest drinking from the waterhole, surrounded by a group of Chacma baboons and a male impala attempting to mate with his females.
With the golden hour arriving we had the pleasure to observe the breeding herd of elephants enjoying the cool water and mud. One young elephant could not get enough of the mud bath, he was splashing and bathing for over 20 minutes, right next to a giraffe going for a sip of water.
By following the herd’s movements our eyes’ attention was caught by the presence of four rhinos. With the sundowner drinks in our hands, it was a scene like in a National Geographic documentary, and Mogorosi became one of our favourite waterholes.”
